i have gone INSANE AND BACK over this videogame. you do not understand.
ABSOLUTELY gonna be spoilers on this so uh... if ya haven't beat the game, LEAVE. and go play the game immediately.

OH MY GOD I LOVE OUTER WILDS.
this is nothing new i know but i need to restate how absolutely fucking amazing this game is

the hearthians are SO FUCKING SILLY and i need to draw more of them. ESPECIALLY the travelers, my amount of outer wilds fanart is so disappointingly small and i need to change that < / 3 (gotta split up the heart so html doesn't freak out)

i wrote about it in my about me but i'm putting it here too because it fits!!!
outer wilds. i cannot even explain the extent that this game has impacted me. it changed my damn brain chemistry
it's a beautiful, sometimes heartbreaking, sometimes awe-inspiring experience that deserves far more recognition than it gets
i understand it isn't for everyone, but believe me, if it *is* for you, it will be one of the best experiences in videogames that you will ever have
i can't go into specifics too much here, lest i spoil a potential player, but if unraveling the mysteries of an alien star system while listening to some of the best music to ever be in a videogame (even outside of videogames, it's some of my favourite music, period. andrew prahlow you are a genius) and going through one of the most bittersweet, heartfelt and beautiful stories in the medium, i'd say give it a shot.

it's tempting to linger in this moment, while every possibility still exists. but unless they are collapsed by an observer, they will never be more than possibilities.
the universe is, and we are.

okay so maybe it doesn't make that much sense considering i wrote it to convince people to play it, but oh well!! it works!!
